If I am going to eat meat, I want it to be from an animal that has lived a pleasant, uncrowded life outdoors, on bountiful pasture, with good water nearby and trees for shade."

Wendell Berry – Farmer, poet and intellectual

Our history has deep and ancient roots.
The beating heart of our activity is the farmhouse, built in 1800,that hosted family business all the time:
It was between those old walls and green fields that, following seasons’ slow rhythm to work the land, harvest fruits and take care of animals, grandfather Mario became a farmer.
In 2013 Giuseppe, owner of Laurenzi Farm, decided to renovate that place full of memories and traditions, and to keep his grandfather business:to nurture black Umbrian pigs in the wild,an autochthonous breed, which nurturing was being lost.

That’s how it starts Umbrian Nerino’s new adventure: tradition, love for the land, respect for nature and animals meet each other to offer a wide range of high quality products, genuine and healthy.
