THE VALLEY OF HARMONY
Located in the south-east part of Umbria, Valnerina is characterised by mountains, flourishing green and length; the name comes from the river Nera which rises from Bove mount, in Sibillini National Park, and runs down quickly, for almost one hundred kilometres, between towns and medieval abbeys, till the spectacular Marmore Falls, touching three different provinces: Perugia, Terni and Macerata.
TASTES FROM THE LAND OF NORCINI
Valnerina is a very diversified land, for what concerns both culture and landscape; It’s a land of roots and traditions, where culture meets gastronomy. Here, processing pig and producing sausages and hams has always been an art, passed down from generation to generation. Even nowadays Valnerina offers the same production and unique pork dishes, cheeses, lentils and legumes, black truffle and trouts.
